Delay control

Set an arbitrary response delay, live, while your client is connected.

Point your client at https://chaos-mcp.thomascdnns.com/s/controlled-delay/mcp. Every request to it (initialize, tools/list, tools/call…) waits for the delay in force at the moment it arrives — so you can connect with no delay, then set 10s and watch the next call time out. Queue steps below to script that in advance.

Profile & token

isolates your profile — append ?key=… to the endpoint

Every request needs Authorization: Bearer <token> — the handshake and everything after it. Rejected attempts show up in the log below with the reason. It is a test fixture, not a secret: this page is public.

Steady delay—

applies to every request

One-shot queue

Consumed in order by the next requests, then it falls back to the steady delay. Connect cleanly and stall on the second attempt with steady no delay + queue none, 10s.

Live requests

timemethoddelayfromstatus

waiting = still being stalled · responded = answered after the delay · abandoned = your client gave up first (that is the timeout you were looking for) · unauthorized = rejected before any delay, with the reason.
