Symptom

what you'll observe

Client aborts the handshake citing an unsupported/unknown protocol version.

Cause

what this reproduces

Server advertises a protocolVersion the client doesn't recognise (typo or stale constant).

Fix

how you'd resolve it

Echo a version you actually support, ideally the one the client requested.

Try it with curl
bash
curl -sS -X POST \
  https://chaos-mcp.thomascdnns.com/s/bad-protocol-version/mcp \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -H 'Accept: application/json' \
